About the event
In this workshop series we will explore wild edible plants, permaculture (a design science for developing regenerative ways of living in a modern context), and herbalism through the lens of yoga philosophy. This workshop will empower everyone who stands with the knowledge and experiences necessary to develop meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships with plants and fungi. Through hands on activities, close observation, and intentional focus, you will see how interacting with plants and mushrooms can nourish both the body and soul. Throughout the course we will explore simple and profound techniques that make it easy and fun for anyone to approach foraging, gardening, and herbalism as a foundation for a spiritual path that is both grounded and practical, while still being deeply mystical and meditative. We will cover:
-the foundational principles of yoga philosophy
-the top wild edible plants in the area
-the why and how of permaculture
-the basics…
