Raspberry, Rubus ideaus, 2 years old. This variety is early bearing and productive. Spread vigourously by rhizomes and quickly fills in to a beautiful raspberry patch at 3ft spacing. To ensure optimal health of the plants, we recommend cutting out old canes after the plant goes dormant in the fall. Oftentimes growers get a second smaller harvest in the fall from these generous plants. Freeze them for smoothies and blend or dehydrate them to make homemade fruit leather. Hardy to zone 3-8. They prefer rich, well-drained soil, and full sun.
