Winter Tree Identification

This walk & talk will be focused entirely on trees. 🌳 We will be putting a lot of our attention into gathering trees for sustainable building materials, fuel,  carving, and more! Since most trees are fully dormant with little to no leaves remaining, we will be highlighting winter tree identification and looking closely at feautures like buds and bud scars which enables us to identify trees at any time of their life cycle. My dear friend and tree wizard, Jamie Byron @jamiethefarmer will be joining us, to teach us how to care for and properly gather tree resources without killing the tree. He has worked as a no kill arborist for many years and is a wealth of knowledge.
